We run the engine, keep it updated and scale it. Your data is processed in the EU region, in memory, and never stored. You pay per document, not per server.
How credits work
- 1 successful operation = 1 credit — any operation, any document size
- Failed conversions are never charged; a reserved credit is refunded automatically
- Monthly allowance resets on your billing day; top-ups are separate and keep their value for 12 months
- Every request is listed on your dashboard: timestamp, operation, key label, status, duration

Endpoint
https://api.rendarium.com — HTTPS only, Bearer authentication with keys you create and revoke yourself. Up to 10 active keys per account, each with its own label and usage breakdown.
EU data region
Requests are served from EU infrastructure. Input documents live only for the duration of the request, which keeps GDPR data-processing agreements simple: there is nothing to retain and nothing to delete.
Dashboard
Balance, plan, per-day usage chart, per-key breakdown and a full credit ledger with every grant, consumption, refund and adjustment — the source of truth if a number ever needs explaining.

Frequently asked questions
What counts as one credit?
One successful request that returns an artifact — a PDF or an image — costs one credit, whatever its size, page count or operation. Text measurement, health and version calls are free.
Are failed conversions charged?
No. If the engine fails or a request is rejected (bad input, rate limit, quota), no credit is consumed. If a credit was reserved before the failure, it is refunded automatically and the refund appears in your ledger.
Do unused credits roll over?
Monthly plan credits reset to the plan allowance on your billing day and do not accumulate. Top-up credits are bought as stock: they persist across months and are valid for 12 months from purchase.
Where is my data processed?
In the European Union. Documents are processed in memory for the duration of the request and are not stored after the response is sent.
Is there a rate limit?
Yes: 10 requests per second per API key, independent of credits. Requests above the limit receive HTTP 429 with the error code rate_limited and are not charged.
What happens when I run out of credits?
The API responds with HTTP 429 and the error code quota_exceeded. Buy a top-up or upgrade your plan from the billing page; the allowance also resets on your next billing day. You receive an email when you have used 80% of your monthly credits.
