Renewals — each extends the update horizon by 12 months
- Auto-renewal — yearly subscription, lowest price. A new key with the extended horizon is delivered automatically at every charge.
- One-time renewal — no subscription; bought manually whenever you want while the license is within its horizon or shortly after. Slightly higher than the auto-renewal rate.
- Late reactivation — for licenses expired less than 12 months ago: the subscription restarts with a higher first installment, then continues at the standard auto-renewal rate.

Redistribution rights (Company Redistribution) cover applications you ship to third parties with Rendarium embedded; your customers activate it with your key and pay no royalties.
Frequently asked questions
Can I change hosted plans at any time?
Yes. Upgrades and downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period; the current period keeps its allowance. If you need credits immediately, buy a top-up — it is applied within minutes and never expires at the end of the month.
Do I need an account to buy a self-hosted license?
No. Licenses are bought at checkout and the key is delivered to the order email. You can optionally link licenses to a portal account later to view keys, horizons and renewals in one place.
Which renewal option should I choose?
Auto-renewal is the cheapest and hands-free: a new key with an extended horizon arrives automatically at every yearly charge. One-time renewal costs a little more and is bought manually whenever you want, with no subscription. If a license lapsed less than 12 months ago, late reactivation restarts the subscription with a higher first installment and standard pricing afterwards. More than 12 months after expiry, a new license at full price is required.
What if I stop renewing?
Everything you own keeps working. Every release published up to your horizon runs with your key indefinitely; you only lose access to releases published after it.
Which payment methods and currencies are accepted?
Checkout is handled by FastSpring, our merchant of record, which accepts major cards, PayPal, wire transfer and local payment methods in your currency and issues VAT-compliant invoices.
